Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2011 & Costume Illustrations

Watched the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and all I can say is one word FABULOUS! I swear the VS show amazes me every year, from the models, to the costumes, to the runway, to the artists. Everything about this show is just so Amazing :) I enjoyed every bit of it, can you believe Alessandra has been doing the show for 11 years! Her first show was in 2000. And Miranda Kerr who just had her baby looks absolutely stunning! She is 28 years-old and her son is not even a year old yet, he's 10 months. These women are truly hard working women. It takes a lot of work to be a Victoria's Secret Model, the amount of work and pressure they put on they're bodies to look flawless is just inspiring.

However I do have to say one thing, Girls you cannot look at these women and think I want my body to look like that, it is almost impossible to have that. These women, it's their job to workout and be fit for this show, a girl with a normal life, going to school or work can never keep up with the amount of workout a model does. Unless you stay at home, have a personal trainer for lets say 6 months then I guess you can say it's do-able. I'm just stating the facts and want you to see that that type of fit is unreal in our world. Now I'm not discouraging you from working out either, you can still workout and have a fabulous body, just make sure you keep in mind that model fit is not what you might get. I think being determined will give you what you want. Even if you're working or going to school or whatever it may be, if you are determined to workout everyday then it is possible and do-able and you will achieve results, believe me I have tried it and am not disappointed. I think this applies to everything else in life and not just working out, an individual that is hard-working and determined to succeed, will not stop till they do and they will get what they want.

I went on a bit of a ramble there didn't I? lol I know I just kinda contradicted myself there hehe but I have many thoughts and am trying to put them all out there :p Moving along here are some of my fav moments from the show including illustrations of the costumes, there were too many as I have already mentioned how fabulous this show was, I really tried to condense my choices, you can see the rest of the outfits by watching the show, I have posted the video below. I also think I have decided that Miranda Kerr is my favorite Angel :) Although I also like Behati and Candice, I guess I just named my Top 3!

MAC Viva Glam 2012 Campaign Unveiled

So earlier this month I posted about how Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin are the new faces for MAC's Viva Glam 2012 Campaign. I told you how they were in Miami shooting for the campaign, well we finally have one of the pictures of the campaign! Check it out.

I love how colorful the picture is! The graffiti, the neon, the PINK! Now there will be 2 lipsticks coming out February 2012 and they will both be in the Pink shades. I cannot wait to get my hands on them. P.S. Febraury is my birthday month so that's even more exciting (hint hint for anyone hesitant on what to get me for my birthday :p haha)

Just an update for our USA readers that I read on Target's website, Gwen Stefani is teaming up with Target to debut a Harajuku Mini collection that will be in stores today November 13! So head over to your nearest target to shop her collection! I mean just from the picture above I can tell it's really cute :) the collection will feature "apparel and accessories for girl and boy infants and toddlers and tween girls."

Here is what Gwen had to say about the collection: "I’ve always been inspired by the cool children’s clothing in Japan, but it was always so hard for me to find it here.... That’s why I am so excited to partner with Target because I’m able to create something inspired by that look but that’s easy to find and affordable. Now all the moms can get their hands on it!"

The collection will include more than 80 exclusive fashion items and accessories – from plaid-print jumpers, fuzzy hoodies and tuxedo-style onesies to bow-adorned headbands, faux-leather jackets and trendy punker pants. Night Out in Town!

Hello Luvies!

I had a fun night tonight as me and my friend headed out to town to do something different and fun. We ended up at Market 338, a little block where locals set up stalls and sell their things, there was clothes, jewelry, cookies and cupcakes and all sorts of different things. We reunited with an old high school friend and had a really good time. The weather out was amazing and we got to support locals in Bahrain.

Check out the ring I bought and the earrings my friend bought, I love my new ring!

Hello Kitty History

Hello Lovies!
Was surfing the web and came across this interesting paragraph about the history of Hello Kitty and thought I'd share it with you guys. It's so cool because I initially thought that Hello Kitty started in China but it actually started in Japan, and did you know her actual name is Kitty White? lol read for yourself..

Hello Kitty (ハローキティ Harō Kiti?) (full name Kitty White) is a fictional character produced by the Japanese company Sanrio, first designed by Yuko Shimizu. She is portrayed as a female white Japanese bobtail cat with a red bow. The character's first appearance on an item, a vinyl coin purse, was introduced in Japan in 1974 and brought to the United States in 1976. The character is a staple of the kawaii segment of Japanese popular culture.
The Hello Kitty trademark has spread globally; Sanrio earned over $1 billion annually in sales outside of Japan, as of 2003. Although mainly aimed at the pre-adolescent female market, the Hello Kitty product range goes all the way from purses, stickers and pen sets to toasters, televisions, clothing, massagers, and computer equipment. It has a cult-like following among adults as well, especially in Asia, where Hello Kitty adorns cars, purses, jewelry and many other high-end consumer products. Several Hello Kitty TV series, targeted towards young children, has also been produced. Examples of products depicting the character include dolls, stickers, greeting cards, clothes, accessories, school supplies, dishes and home appliances. Her fame as a recurring Sanrio character has led to the creation of two officially licensed Hello Kitty theme parks, Harmonyland and the indoor Sanrio Puroland.

Greetings from China

Nihau lovies! (Nihau is Chinese for Hello)
I'm in China :) aaah I can't believe I'm here, it's such a beautiful country, we arrived in the afternoon and after arriving to our hotel, showering n relaxing, we got ready to hit the city.

Beijing Road is like Times Square, the buildings, the rush of the people, the billboards, and the LIGHTS! I looove it, walking around and seeing all these Chinese signs is so cool! And did I mention the fashion in this place? So many fashionable women walking around, I tried to snap a pic but they're walking by too fast and since I don't really know their culture, I did not want to offend them by asking them if I can take a pic. I'll try my best to catch a quick pic the rest of my time here but for now let me just describe it for you :p there was high heels, low heels, sandals and flats, each one more fascinating than the other and most women were wearing dresses and skirts, in so many different colors it's fabulous! All the dresses were light materials like silk, chiffon and lace but the way they put it together just looks so glamorous, I really didn't know what to expect with Chinese fashion but I must say I am impressed.

My first meal here was dinner and we had sushi, I know what you're thinking Japanese cuisine in China? Lol but I had some Chinese rice so that's good right? But no it's really hard to find a good Chinese place to eat here because almost all the places only have pork and I don't eat pork so I have to settle with foods I can eat. Anywho the food was amazing and you'll notice from the pics below, also at the restaurant I noticed a girl with a crown on her head, I dunno if it was her birthday or that's just her style but as I continued to look at her, her shoes stood out to me, cute little beige low heels with shiny anklets on each side, I must have her shoes and I'm not leaving China till I find them :p I snapped a pic of the shoes but it's kinda blurry, I hope u can still see that they're cute tho.

After dinner we walked around and shopped a little then headed back to the hotel. I'll dedicate a post to all the goodies I bought when I get back. And that concludes my 1st day in China :)
